Public Gardens (Halifax)
Established in 1867, the Halifax Public Gardens is 17 acres of the oldest and finest formal Victorian Gardens in North America. Imported trees and floating-style flowerbeds are arranged in French Formal and English Romantic Styles. A wrought iron fence with a magnificent set of ornamental gates encloses the park.
